Re-entry
Ten days and five beds since I landed in San Diego.
Have already talked (and laughed) more than I did in in all the 130 days that I was gone.
One good coffee out in 10 days, and I struggle to stay positive, especially after learning that over 30% of Americans believe that Judge Judy is a member of the Supreme Court.
Still, I remind myself, this is my home, and more than 60% know better. So many worlds colliding. And I am still glad to be in the company of such smart, funny, loving, open-hearted friends, as beds six and seven beckon me on, with Dawn, Sprout and Halcyon (and a 10x20 storage shed (filled with what? and why?)) cheering me on to the other West Coast.
